  • Designed a Machine Reading Comprehension (MRC) system and fine-tuned Google's mT5 model, linking topics from End of Chapter Questions to relevant sections of the text and enhancing study strategies.
  • Competed against 60+ hackers and won Datafest, receiving awards for “Best in Show” and “Best Use of Outside Data”

Diabetic Retinopathy Image Classifier

  • Utilized Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) using Python for multi-class categorization of diabetic retinopathy severity
  • Performed image augmentation using various techniques on 90GB of image data, blending left and right eye images and tuning model parameters to achieve 81% accuracy

Research Paper Recommendation System

  • Developed a full-stack content-based recommendation system by web-scraping over 5,000+ research and conference papers
  • Performed hyperparameter tuning, preprocessing, and vectorization techniques to list similar papers and increase recommendation accuracy
